FARO (BEACON) is a foot lamp made out of bego marble and a casted aluminum head. A blackened silver screw allows the head to rotate, and the LED light is dimmable. FARO makes reference to the improvised artifacts that are created in building sites, especially in Mexico. In construction there is plenty science involved, but there is also an intuitive part that has equal importance. The barrel shape and the beacon create a seemingly illogical object, but in reality, is completely functional.
