The mural represents a system. From a microchip to a distribution center: every element works collectively to achieve a purpose. "MURAL N3" exposes the technology and connections that exist in PLAN, weaving a dialogue between Liverpool's past and its future, as well as between the natural and the industrial, the global and the local.
The cast aluminum pieces are abstractions of endemic plants, emphasizing the role of the plant world in harmony with the system and the environmental commitment of this installation. Among the different endemic elements, we see a Cosmos Flower bulb, a split corn, an abstraction of the Jilotepec glyph, a Guasaca flower, a Lion's Tail, and an Acacia pod. It's also worth mentioning the homage to the first escalator in Mexico—a gesture that confirms the significant role Liverpool has played in embracing technology.
